Submissions
Although our name, practices, and early publications may suggest otherwise, Ehipassiko Press is not a Buddhist press. We welcome works from a range of traditions-spiritual or secular-that foster inquiry into the values of loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity, especially as they relate to education, spiritual growth, and addiction recovery.
We are particularly drawn to books that serve as journals for reflection, including those designed with ample space for readers to write directly in the book. However, this is not a requirement for publication. In addition, Ehipassiko Press is open to publishing textbooks and workbooks in any academic or professional discipline.
Submission Guidelines
Although you are welcome to send us a complete manuscript, we encourage you to first send a query with a working title and brief summary to info@ehipassikopress.org. After reviewing your proposal, we will discuss publishing details, time lines, and other specifics with We welcome submissions from both new and experienced authors. If your project is accepted, the final manuscript should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
