Submissions

Although our name, our business practices, and our initial publications might imply otherwise, we are not a Buddhist Press. We are interested in publishing books from a variety of traditions that encourage investigation into loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity, especially as these concepts relate to education, spiritual growth, and recovery from addiction. We are especially interested in books that can serve as a journal in which the reader has plenty of room to write reflections in the book itself. However, this is not a requirement for publication. Finally, Ehipassiko Press, LCC will publish textbooks and workbooks in any discipline.

Submission Guidelines

Although you are welcome to send us a complete manuscript, we encourage you to first send a query with a working title and brief summary to info@ehipassikopress.org. After reviewing your proposal, we will discuss publishing details, time lines, and other specifics with you. We welcome the opportunity to work with both experienced and new authors. Eventually you will need to submit your manuscript to us in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
