Word Version of “Learning from Others” Uploaded

This evening we were contacted by someone who really enjoyed reading the free .pdf version of Bhanthe Sankichcha’s Learning from Others. The only problem was that he couldn’t type answers to the questions using the .pdf file. “It would be nice to have a Microsoft Word version available,” he commented.

If only all problems were as easy to fix as this one! We have uploaded a Microsoft Word version of Learning from Others to the Ehipassiko Press website.

We appreciated the suggestion that allowed us to improve our services.

“Learning From Others” Now Available

Bhanthe Sankichcha’s Learning from Others: A Dhamma Talk and Reflective Journal is now available. You may download a free .pdf version of the book from the Ehipassiko Press website. A paperback edition is available from Amazon for $3.83. Because Ehipassiko Press does not mark up the price of any book sold on Amazon over production costs, we make no income on any sales through Amazon.

Learning from Others begins with a short dhamma talk followed by questions designed to help you reflect on how you can learn from other humans, animals, and nature. Because plenty of space is provided for you to reflect on the questions, Learning from Others doubles as a journal. Although it is written from a Buddhist perspective, Learning from Others contains valuable insights for anyone interested in learning.

We are especially grateful to the following individuals without whose volunteer efforts this book would not have been published: Dawn Lemon (editor) and Josselyn Moore (copy editor). We are also grateful that Bhanthe Sankichcha would trust us with his first book which is also our first book.
